To start, I gathered images of space station hallways from google and from that I got the key features that they have such as a floor, walls and roof. I used the Mirror and Array tools to speed up so that I don't have to do both sides and so that I can see what it would look like when they are fitted together.
After about 2 hours I finally got the shape I wanted but the it just looked too plain and empty. To fix this I added some orange coloured lines and pipes to mix it up. The pipes are very simple and are cylinders with no faces on the ends.
Once I added the pipes and lines It looks loads better, the only thing That looks plain now is the roof which is at this point, just a plane so I added a grid patten.
Now that I have done the Hallway I can start adding variations such as doors etc...
This entire project has 7,300 faces and 7,555 vertices in total and is completly UV unrapped per modular asset and the door is fully animated.
